Heroic Tale of Aitzaz Hasan

On 7th January, 2014 A boy named Aitzaz Hasan dedicated his life to save his school and 2000 students in Ibrahimzai, Hangu District, Pakistan. He confronted a suicide bomber in front of his school and sacrificed his life.

One described the incident as , "So he told them 'I'm going to stop him. He is going to school to kill my friends'. He wanted to capture this suicide bomber. He wanted to stop [him]. Meanwhile the suicide bomber blasted himself which resulted in the death of my cousin," - BBC

We express our deep tribute to this hero today on his 5th death anniversary. We believe that there will always a hero in everywhere to confront intolerance even by sacrificing own life.
